The ABS Air Safety Foundation holds two types of traveling clinics:
ABS-ASF Service Clinics visit 10 locations around the U.S. each year. Members bring in their airplane for a 1.5 hour visual inspection by an expert mechanic who zeroes in on items that most commonly need attention on Beech airplanes. The Clinic is a learning experience, with the inspector working one-on-one with each owner to explain what to look for and what to do about discrepancies. Emphasis is on what to look for before there's a safety issue. ABS-ASF encourages you to bring your mechanic so he/she can learn to better maintain your airplane. Clinics conducted by the Beechcraft Pilot Proficiency Program (BPPP) are 2 to 2.5-day "total immersion" events held around the country that combine ground school and flight training by expert instructors. BPPPs also feature enjoyable social activities for participants, plus add-on events of aircraft inspections and a nonpilot companion course. With aviation safety as its primary objective, BPPP is the single most effective model-specific pilot training available anywhere in the world. ABS-ASF has the clinics that help keep you flying - safely. |
