Delayed landing gear retraction

Intermittent delay for gear retraction can be a few rec to 20 sec. Never delay when lowering landing gear. Has to be squat switch or oleostrut not extending

If the squat switch does not make to allow gear retraction you will get an associated horn advising that the gear handle has been put in the up position on the ground.
Next time the gear does not retract, pull the landing gear circuit breaker and then unstow the emergency hand crank and rotate it 3-4 turns CLOCKWISE then stow the hand crank. Make sure that the gear handle is in the up position, push in the circuit breaker and if the gear retract I suspect a problem with the motor up winding's where they connect to the commutator inside the motor. The only fix is to have the motor overhauled.
