Please advise on what Magnesium alloy the A-36 elevators are made of, and what Aluminum alloys the rest of the A-36 is made of.
Also, please advise on the coatings that were originally implemented on the Magnesium and Aluminum surfaces before they were painted.

The Maintenance manual, chapters 53-30-00 (fuselage), 55-00-00 (empennage), and 57-30-00 (wings) have the skin plating diagrams that will answer your questions.

Mr Dagan, The controlling document for maintenance of any type certified aircraft is always the aircraft maintenance manual. The Beech manuals are great. Every owner should invest in a set, as well as all the revisions and service bulletins.

Ofer... Chapter 55 of my MM is only calling out a magnesium alloy for the elevator skins. In some of my notes left over from my days working at Beechcraft I have the actual alloy listed as AZ31B.
