Planelogix experience

Hi All

Looking to keep better track of required scheduled maintenance & inspections on our BE33c, and came across Planelogix which seems to that as well as digitize all the logs etc.

Hoping for the benefit of this communities experience and insights with Planelogix before I go and spend the significant amount of money on their seemingly worthwhile services next week.

Thanks in advance.

Hello
I have utilized their services for 4 different aircraft. The company has grown over the years. They have improved their logistics and efficiency. Knowing logs are 20%, or some amount, of an aircraft’s value, I have consistently submitted my logs for digitization. The digital copies simplify sales by allowing a potential buyer to view logs immediately. I have no affiliation with PlaneLogix other than being a satisfied customer. Will Goldstein is a quality person. Please mention my name if you decide to utilize their services. I am a “fan” of the service. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask. Kent

I used the Adobe Scanner app on iPhone and was able to digitize all of my logbooks and put into multiple PDF and organize as I see fit. I was impressed with the staff of Planelogix but in the end decided to do myself. Took me the better portion of a day to complete but well worth the insurance of having a backup for all of the logs. I did the same thing with my pilot log. The app is free to use - there are add-ons available for a small fee if you want to purchase but not necessary.

I also considered scanning, but the organization of records/online site PlaneLogix provides was the determining factor, in my case. Good luck.

Thanks Zach.. I may look into that option as well.

FYI, form my logbook I use Safe Log which is an online service and APP. which is has been great! Took me the better part of a year to finally get my paper logs all in but worth it in my experience.

I use PlaneLogix, I’ve been very satisfied with their system. It makes it very easy to keep track of my maintenance, from ADs to oil changes to VOR checks, and i have a cloud backup of all my physical logs, which were scanned and parsed when I first signed in. Also, my mechanic has access to my logs and can check the squawks when I bring my bonanza in. The flight aware integration is pretty spot on in keeping track of your HOBBS.
