E-series Bonanza

Looking at a 35R with E-185-11 engine and electric prop. Prop logs show it's been 358 hours since 250 hour inspection (2007). Also, the owner says the auto prop function is inop and he uses the manual to adjust pitch. I need a prop shop who still works on these on the West Coast. I am in Portland. Also need a shop that still works on the E-series engines. Said I would never own another E-series Bonanza, but this rare Bonanza will be hard to pass up!

I,m flying an old 35R and we had the prop serviced last year. It was working fine but started tripping the circuit breaker when it was cold. By cold, I mean 50 degrees or less. The old men on the field said it was dried out grease in the hub and I should get it fixed up. The plane had sat for a number of years, and only flown infrequently for the last few.
I live in New Mexico and the only shop close was in Abernathy, Texas. I did buy some parts front Stockton Propeller, and I think they still work on the old electrics. Their # is 800-749-7767

Talk to Mike Belmont at Stockton Propeller. Mike will return the prop to proper condition.
