Thanks Mike. I’ll check into it. I am looking at an STC panel mod from an outfit called McPeck Aviation. The STC itself looks OK, but details on the installation are very sparse.

McP has STC and / or PMA items now? I didn't know that, good on him.

Well, The GNC355 is backordered until later October, so plenty of time to finish prepping for my IA exam!

I'm doing this as we speak.
I'm going with the Mitchell gauges and all the sensors/senders are in the engine compartment where they belong.
I did a piano keys up panel upgrade about 20 years ago and my new gauge cluster fits nicely in the original position. I'm going with 8 gauges, adding a second fuel gauge and a volt meter.
All that being said, having a single electronic gizmo in place would be a very nice thing to have(awesome), like Mike said.

One thing that really worries me is getting all the new senders calibrated so that they read correctly. Ammeter shunting is a particular concern. Original gages are ancient, but they all work great.

EI makes the CGR-30.
Garmin makes the GI 275 EIS.
Either would fit in a 3 1/8” instrument hole.
