J or K type CHT probe

I replaced my Triple gauge (Oil Temp. Oil Press and CHT) do I use a J or K type probe, I am also running an insight GEM 610 to all cylinders. Need to double up on number 2 cyl. Which type probe works with my triple guage.

The 3-in-1 gauge was not original on a D35, so there is no hard data on this. You should reference the indicator itself; the data plate may show what is the type used; if not, consult the instrument shop you purchased from, or the STC the 3-in-1 is installed under.

Assuming the CHT in the 3-in-1 is primary, you need to use the recommended probe for it, and buy whatever Insight offers for their secondary indicator. The CHT probes for spark plug gasket use from Insight and not robust enough to handle multiple torqueings of the spark plug as the Lewis Manufacturing ring-type CHT probes are. I would recommend a bayonet type primary probe, and use an adapter for that, that works with the Insight.
