How do you remove the heating element prior to sending to the chrome shop ?
Thank you,

I know of no way to remove the element. It was built into the tube when it was put together.

I sent the pitot tube off of my Baron to Space Coast Plating a couple of months ago and they did a great job.

Hi Bob
I ordered a new one do I need to do a Pitot Static test or can I wait until it’s due ?

I would suggest doing the pitot section to confirm no leaks after the new tube installed.
