Beechcraft V35 turbo STC bracket needed

I am looking for a factory turbo STC mounting bracket. IPC part number 286S35-072-7. Textron does not stock it anymore. All the salvage places I called don't have it. My current bracket is cracked. I sent it to AWI for them to repair. They said they would not touch it. You can see the mounting tab is broken off and there is a crack at the weld joint just above the mounting tab. Can you help give me direction on how to get my bracket fixed or purchase a replacement bracket?

I would take it to a local welding shop in your home community.

I have done that multiple times.

Jonathan... You're correct about the turbochargers. The turbochargers installed on V35's at the factory were actually STC's. If one looks at the TDS for Bonanzas there is no Model V35TC listed anywhere. Airesearch originally held the STC but sold it to a consortium down in Texas who didn't do anything with it. They may even have resold it. There have not been any new parts made for the installation for decades. (possible exceptions may be the turbocharger itself)

I suggest taking Tom's suggestion and see if you can get a qualified aircraft welder locally to weld the bracket. If you can't find anyone locally, I'd suggest calling Paul with ACORN WELDING up in Alberta Canada. He can be reached by phone at 888-388-8803.
