I have a beech travel air with a non functional Hobbs meter. We have already replaced the meter. I also checked continuity from the meter to the weight on wheels switch on the left main gear. Switch on the gear is constantly grounded with the switch both up and down. Also have power getting to the meter itself. Haven’t been able to locate any applicable tech data for this issue and was wondering if anyone here has anything to offer as a possible solution.

Ship serial number TD-534 and later use a pressure switch to actuate the Hobbs; likely an airspeed switch, but I don't know for sure. Earlier aircraft show no data in my book.
