I noticed my battery discharging on run up and upon further investigation noticed a broke wire (I believe coming from master gen switch in cockpit) and the connection point extremely loose (see 14 sec video below). What are my options considering InterAv is out of business?
PlanePower Alt upgrade?...I have heard of issues with cracking brackets
QAA rebuilt?....potential quality issue concerns
Is my current Alternator repairable and is there a shop you recommend?

Take the alternator to any automotive electrical shop. There is nothing special about it.
Verify that you have 12V with engine not running at the field terminal (F1) with battery and alternator switch on. If no voltage, you have an issue with regulator or wiring.
