B58 (1988) Dynamic brake not working for gear up, down seems maybe ok?

Replaced the Dynamic Brake relay and adjusted limit switches, and no change. The wiring matches the diagram.

-The down limit switch stops the motor at approx. half of the switches travel inconsistently, with 1/2 to1 full turn left on the handle.
-The up-limit switch is maxed out every time and adjustments are not changing anything. Zero turn left in the handle.

Very much appreciate any input on this.

Even if your landing gear motor has under 2000 hours, consider sending it off for evaluation. The initial reduction drive between the motor and transmission has grease in it, and the motor seal can fail. Contaminated brushes can cause what you describe.

Thank you! Makes sense I’ll do that.
