G58 Baron Vgs

G58 with micro Vgs. Is there supposed to be an AFMS? There is a placard on the panel with the limitation about no more than 5 missing Vgs, but can’t find a supplement in the POH. Is that a requirement for this STC? Looks like some of their other STCs (C310) do change the airspeed indicator, but as far as I can tell this one does not. Any opinions, observations out there on the Vgs with this airplane? I did read the article in the magazine from a while back that discussed the speed penalties (which Micro seems to claim are false.)

Yes. Any STC, including the Micro Systems vortex generators, requires the POH Supplement to be carried in the aircraft.

Check behind the co-pilot in the pouch and see if someone put them in a notebook.
As long as they are in the aircraft and accessible in flight they do not have to be in the AFM.

Just spoke to Kelly at Micro and she said that no AFMS is required for this STC since it does not make “certified performance changes.” I guess they didn’t want to go through the trouble to flight test this one, change limitations and get Garmin to change the Vmc redline. So the advertised improvements to Vmc and stall speed are just sort of “unofficial” performance enhancements for lack of a better description.
