MLG scissors bushing replacement

Replacing the scissors bushing, p/n 45-815013.

Question, the current bushing has a hole for grease injection (see photo), the new one does not. How should one proceed? Thank you!

Regards,

Drilling into a bushing at less than perpendicular can lead to wandering of the bit, and elongation of the structure (scissor). I think pre-drilling the bushing (if the above angular difference exists) would be a better choice, but care then must be taken to install with alignment.

Agree with Mike, pre-drill by putting old bushing next to new one and estimate the hole location. Make sure you line up the hole in bushing with grease fitting in link.
