Windward Aviation - Service Clinic
The basic concept of the ABS Air Safety Foundation Service Clinic is to offer a comprehensive, highly structured initial visual inspection of the airplane. The Service Clinic program is, in effect, a "second opinion" service conducted by recognized Beechcraft experts.
- Service Clinics are scheduled for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in 1 hour, 30 minutes increments.
- Price for the ABS/ASF Service Clinics is $300 regardless of model.
- Turbine-conversion ABS-type airplanes may be accepted for inspection in the ABS ASF Service Clinic program.
The Service Clinic inspector will inspect unmodified parts of the airframe. The engine compartment(s) of turbine-modified airplanes will not be inspected. Owners should note that the modification and additional power of turbine conversions may create stresses and potential issues for those airframes that our inspectors are not aware of and may not detect. The ABS Service Clinic inspector has the final say whether a specific turbine-conversion airplane will be accepted for inspection.
Service Clinics are just one of the Member Benefits provided by ABS. You must be a current member of ABS to register.
