Midwest Aviation - Service Clinic

Registration for this clinic will open February 2021

The ABS Air Safety Foundation Service Clinic is a comprehensive, highly structured visual inspection of the airplane. The Service Clinic program is, in effect, a "second opinion" conducted by recognized Beechcraft experts.

Additionally, an inspector from Pinacle Engines will perform borescope, compression checks, and a visual inspection of engine compartment(s). This is done at no additional cost to the ABS Member.

Service Clinics are scheduled for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in 1 hour, 30 minutes increments.

Price for the ABS/ASF Service Clinics is $350 regardless of model.

The Service Clinic inspector will inspect unmodified parts of the airframe. The engine compartment(s) of turbine-modified airplanes will not be inspected. Owners should note that the modification and additional power of turbine conversions may create stresses and potential issues for those airframes that our inspectors are not aware of and may not detect. The ABS Service Clinic inspector has the final say whether a specific turbine-conversion airplane will be accepted for inspection.

Service Clinics are just one of the Member Benefits provided by ABS. You must be a current member of ABS to register.

The Service Clinic Inspector for this clinic is: Wayne Whittington

If you are curious what an ABS Service Clinic is like, here is a portion of a recent Service Clinic inspection. The Service Clinic inspector shown is ABS Senior Technical Advisor, Bob Ripley.
