Course Description

You probably think it will never happen to you. But if you experience a deviation you may face FAA action, and far more importantly you’re at risk of colliding with another aircraft. In this program we’ll cover:

• Different types of pilot deviations

• The speaker’s personal experience with an altitude deviation causing loss of separation

• FAA regulations governing pilot deviations

• Remedies available to the FAA

• The pilot’s rights when notified of a possible deviation

• Techniques for avoiding pilot deviations
