Course Description

What does it mean to fly a “stabilized approach” in the context of Beech piston airplanes?

In this presentation we will cover:

• The advantages of and considerations for flying stabilized approaches
• “By the numbers” flying for instrument and visual approaches
• The “Rule of 10s” for increased accuracy on an approach
• Whether, when and how to use flaps in an approach
• Tips for increased accuracy on approach
