Regulations make the airplane owner or operator, not the mechanic, primarily responsible for proper and correct maintenance and repair logbook entries. Yet pilots are almost never taught how to maintain their airplane and engine logbooks. Chuck Cook, a mechanic with inspection authorization as well as a long-time Beech-specific flight instructor helps fill this knowledge gap so ABS members know how to maintain their logbooks.
